• Rewarding:
    Praise your students for their effort. This may include trying to explain, re-explanations or even trying to attempt a question. This makes them feel valued by their tutor. 

  • Simple Instructions: Ensure that the instructions you provide are simple and unambiguous. Autistic students often take instructions literally. Also, make sure you give out one instruction at a time.


  • Visual Learning: Ensure that you use various learning aids and pictures to help teach concepts to your students in order to help them concentrate throughout the session.
